Hydrogen Peroxide has great advantages when compared to other common disinfection agents and techniques. Most sanitizing agents leave residues on the surfaces that they were used to disinfect, while the UV light systems cannot really penetrate to the shadowed areas and be as effective. The ViTralizer provides tremendously greater coverage because it works in shadowed areas where UV cannot reach, and our solution won’t leave a residue and is tested to be compatible with all surfaces, fabrics, and electronics.
How does the ViTralizer work?
The ViTralizer uses Hydrogen Peroxide to disinfect the targeted areas. Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide is registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a sterilant, which the EPA defines as “a substance that destroys or eliminates all forms of microbial life in the inanimate environment, including all forms of vegetative bacteria, bacterial spores, fungi, fungal spores, and viruses“.
As of July 2020, Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor has been added to the list of solutions that can effectively kill SARS-CoV-2 cells in the environment where Hydrogen Peroxide is being used.
The hydrogen peroxide sterilization cycle typically requires less time than alternative forms of sterilization, such as ethylene oxide sterilization. A hydrogen peroxide sterilization process involves H2O2 vapor spreading through the area where it’s set up, contacting and sterilizing all exposed surfaces, even penetrating to those hard to reach/see places.
Vaporized hydrogen peroxide has traditionally been used for sterilization of reusable medical devices in patient care facilities for many years now.
Operating the ViTralizer
Simply fill, set the room size, push start, and leave the room. The ViTralizer is capable of sanitizing over 17,000 cubic feet (2,125 Square Feet @ 8 ft ceilings) in one run. In less than an hour, people can safely return to the now sanitized area. If you need more space covered, just move the machine to a different location and run it again.
It’s that easy.
